Since the official title for Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi was announced earlier this week, many have been speculating whether or not the "Jedi" in the title was plural or singular. Does it mean Rey or Luke Skywalker are the last of the Jedi, or is one of them literally "The Last Jedi." The debate will probably carry on well into the days leading up to the film's release. You don't really expect the film to explain the title and spoil everything in the trailer, do you?
While we speculate and try to find out answers from various members of the cast in other press events, Josh Gad had something else in mind. Using whatever pull he has as the voice of Olaf in Frozen, he decided to ask Daisy Ridley, herself, the meaning behind The Last Jedi.
